I believe there is art in nature. There is no comparable medium for capturing a moment in time, some coincidence of suject and light that has possible never occurred before -and may never happen again. Long before I became a serious photographer, images had the power to trasnport me instantly to a different place. As a young adult, photographs led to to experience first-hand those wild places. This power -of photographs and wild places- has resulted in a life of exploring, and being astounded by, wild beauty.
